Suman Phogat

Administrative Assistant

Suman joined our firm as an Administrative Assistant in August of 2020. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and a Master’s Degree in English from MDU University, Rohtak, Haryana, India. She is a Notary in the State of Indiana.

She has 15-20 years of experience in customer relations. She has a real estate business in India, which she personally managed with her Husband. She came to the U.S. as an immigrant in 2017, and in 2022, she became a U.S. citizen. Transitioning from India to the U.S. is very challenging, but going through it with the entire family is also very daunting.

Her extensive knowledge of the procedure and its complexities exposed her to the struggles and frustrations immigrants have firsthand. With her vast experience, she assists our firm in connecting clients to their attorneys and paralegals. She also coordinates with the USCIS, Immigration Courts, and other government agencies for the client and the attorneys. Her discipline, dedication, and positivity made her an integral part of our team. Her fluency and good grasp of five languages not only help our office effectively communicate with our clients but also help our clients feel welcome and at home. She speaks English, Hindi, Haryanvi, Punjabi, and Marathi.
